A daily tip to make your mastered track shine.
Mixing tip No.1: SPACE.. The final Frontier..
Pan, Separate, Open up, give room, Verb left & Amp signal right.
Whatever your method, or how you do it, Don't be afraid to be heavy
handed with your panning.
Its easy to mix close to the center, it all gels so quickly..
But if you compare 'your' apples with your favorite oranges, The thing that makes
good music better is the sensation of being inside the track, not just listening to it.

Mastering on a shoes string
Well.. what a crazy mixed up year we've stumbled into in the land of Audio.
I should start by thanking all my clients past and in particular the repeat offenders.
My work has always been client referred, that means no advertising outside of the odd email sent to a small number of producers that recommended my services on a repeat basis.
But with the knock on effect from the "Global economic down turn.." We here in the buisness,
are 'all' having to peddle our voodoo in a more or less direct manor.. Thus welcome to this Blog. Good enough for every artist on the planet, good enough for me.
